Hello Bloggers!! Well, OK, its been another tough week. On the heels of Monkey Love announcing its storefront closure, is the announcement from Unique Creations, Kent, that they are also closing their storefront. Sandy Ono, Monkey Love, is moving to more internet presence but not sure what Betty Jean, Unique Creations, is up to since I have not been able to get ahold of her. Both have announced some great discounts so do check them out. It's epidemic!! Most of you must know by now that Addicted To Rubber Stamps, an online service, is either already closed or in the process. Truly epidemic!!
Friends and Company is not far behind, however, we would love for someone to pick up where we are leaving off and purchase our fabulous store to keep operations going. Yep, you heard it here first. The store is "For Sale". Only serious inquiries (please) can be made with an appointment so please call the store to get one set up. We are completely negotiable. We really just want to keep our operation going with someone who loves this industry and wants their own business. It could be a GREAT opportunity.
It is not my desire to announce that we are "For Sale", however, a recent medical diagnosis is forcing me to seek alternatives for our 13-1/2 year operation. When more information regarding my medical whoas are available, I will be sure to post but, until then, I don't want to take any guesses as to what I have to look forwrd to so I will leave it at that for now.
Our Karen Lockhart day of classes was a complete hit. At least we think so. Many thanks to all of you who participated. I personally had a blast and cannot wait until I can play with Prismacolor pencils and my stylus. Way too much fun. Thanks Karen for a really good time and a great day!
Just before Karen's visit, I participated in Yvonne Grimes' Iris Folding Class. In all the years that Lindy Combs taught this technique in West Seattle, I had never been able to take a class since I was always working. Anyway, what a blast that was also. You can see that I have been keeping my creative spirit fed and that has actually kept this week to something manageable. Think about classes for yourselves. You won't regret it!!
I did not mean to drop such a bomb about selling but how else can we make it happen and I also think it is best that you are all aware of what is going on (or not going on). Help us spread the word so that someone comes along and will fit the "job description" perfectly!
It's getting late so...... I'll blog again as soon as I can and especially if I have any news.
Until then...... Hugs to All - Doris
Will be keeping you and the sale of the store in my prayers.

Superior Labels, owner of RubberStamps.Net., purchased Addicted to Rubber Stamps and is in the process of rebuilding the warehouse. The goal is to re-launch the Web site in mid-August 2011. Updates on the process are posted on Facebook.
