Hello Bloggers!! My oh my, its been a busy time. Not sure why exactly but it seems that each day passes and there is always way more to do than time allows.
Many thanks to those of you who attended our 2-year anniversary celebration in Issaquah, WA, this past Saturday. We had a GREAT day and totally appreciated all the support extended. The demos were some of the best. We are just going to have to repeat some of them. I was so excited that I just wanted everyone to see all the demo artists at work. Our thanks and appreciation to Rita Noble, Diane Walter, Yvonne Grimes, Sarah Brighton, Susan Holton, and Emily Cates. These individuals gave their time and expertise to all of us so that we could benefit from them as we continue to grow in each of our own creative journey. A GREAT day and lots of fun for everyone!!
We have actually been in business for 13+ years now. I miss West Seattle and love to see some of those familiar faces visit us in Issaquah. Friends and Company maintained a presence in West Seattle for 13 years. Darn that old economy - otherwise we would likely still be there. We are definitely a destination location now but it really is a pleasant ride out on I-90. It takes only about 25 minutes from West Seattle. I never travel during the rush hours. Once in a while I get caught in traffic but its been rare so that makes me happy.
Besides thanking everyone, I also wanted to give a quick hello and announce the winner in our Jelly Bean Count Contest. Congratulations to Cathy O'Day who came the closest at guessing the amount of jelly beans in our informal contest. Cathy was awarded a $25.00 gift certificate from Friends and Company just for guessing. You also can win. Stop in and take a guess at our count of Tootsie Pops. This contest runs until the end of June and you can take a guess with each visit so do stop in. No purchase is necessary. That's a good photo Cathy. Thanks to our photographer, Alice Louie, for taking the photo. Seems that my own camera is on sabbitical. One of these days, I hope to find it. Good night to all. Hugs - Doris
Sounds like great fun, Doris - sorry to have missed it! Was so good to see you at the Puyallup Show! See ya soon! hugs, Sandy
