Hello Bloggers!! I can hardly believe how long it has been since I've done any blogging. Thank you all for your patience. I find that for myself I do not visit a blog if I continually go to read it and it's months old. So, although I do try to keep the blog up, I am sometimes forgetful as time passes. My sister is always great at reminding me but sometimes it goes in one ear and out the other. I'm thinking that many of you can relate to that experience!
Not to forget, however, today. It was a GRAND day as I spent the whole day at the annual Puyallup Rubber Stamp Convention hosted by Heirloom Productions. What an absolutely fun day. I was able to connect with so many of you as you perused the aisles and saw all the wonderful demos and products being offered. We gave out a boatload of chocolate so I hope you were the recipient of at least one piece. It was yummy!! We made several connections with new rubber stamp manufactures so we are excited about that. We also saw many of our existing ones and were able to chat up a storm with many of them. You know me well enough by now to know that the chatting was total fun. We are also excited that we will be offering cling mounted rubber stamps in the very near future. You've been asking and we've been listening so stay tuned on that one.
I got home excited and energized and quickly worked on our upcoming anniversary celebration this coming Saturday, 21 May 2011. With all this energy and excitement flowing through my viens, I knew it was a good time to get some of the logistics taken care of. We are planning a very full day of make-n-takes, demos, food, and fun so be sure to mark your calendars. We'd love to see you stop in anytime. I'll be posting the details later this week.
If you were at the convention, I would love to hear from your. Let me know what your "hottest" find was and what it was that made you want to purchase it. I can recall years ago that after countless dollars spent and with only about $7.00 left, I bought a "baloony". What a riot. I thought then that it was hot but soon found out that it was indeed a gadget and did not really work very well. It was simply a balloon filled with soft goop to resize designs. I kept it for years but it since has bitten the dust. It was at that convention that I discovered Stampscapes - one of my favorite companies because of all the scenic stamping they offer. It was a blast then and it was a blast today. I'm tired but still wound up. Gotta close it down for the now or I'll be less than useful tomorrow.
Goodnight and happy stamping - Until later....... hugs - Doris
