Hello Bloggers!! Hope the Easter bunny was good to all of you. I totally enjoyed the day off and made good use of that thing called "naps". Was I ever nappy!! I do feel rested and rejuvenated so perhaps it's what was in order. Hopefully this week will go well as I just realized only moments ago that I have a newsletter due out later this week. Yikes!! It'll happen - I just need to focus.
We are less than 1 week away from our "2011 Bookfest". It's hard to believe but there are still spaces open so....if you are inclined to want a fun filled weekend all about creativity, give us a call at the shop (425.391.1500) and get registered. Sherry Wilson, John Peterson, and Rita Noble have all created some wonderful books for you to create on your own. There is lots going on with goodies and such so it'll definitely be a fun weekend and very affordable at $130.00 for the entire weekend.
Hope you had an opportunity to catch Spring on Saturday. It sure was a fabulous day. I worked at the shop all day but made it a point to stick my head out the door now and then. I'm really happy that I did given the newscast this evening included snow warnings in all the passes and the weather was headed back to cold and wet. I, like many, can't wait until we can stretch out a few days without any "wet".
It remains quiet at the shop but hopefully with taxes behind us and the holiday past, we'll be seeing more of you. Our FREE Wednesday demos remain popular so stop in if you can between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm and check them out. We always have fun. A sneak peek into Wednesday's demo include those Marvy Metallic Markers we all bought 20 years ago. I loved them then and still do. What stunning results. I'll post pictures after the demo so get them out and be ready!!
Reserve Saturday, 21 May 2011, for our 2-year anniversary in Issaquah. I know - how did that happen but it's actually since March that marked our 2 years. Our grand opening had been in May, hence, why we are celebrating in May. We've got lots planned and are working on the details.
Have a GREAT week everyone!! - Hugs to all - Doris
