Hello Bloggers!! It seems as though there is so much going on that I am not sure just where to start. For those of you wondering, the Celebration of Life for Tammy Fox was very well attended. For me personally, it has, to a degree, helped me to wrap my head around this whole thing a bit better. It presented me the opportunity of being more a part of Tammy's life and with all the folks attending, it was made clear that Tammy was very valuable in their lives as well and that she will be missed. Please keep her parents, Kathy and Ed Fox, in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to get through this tragedy.
Plans for the "2011 Bookfest" are complete and registrations are now being accepted for this 2-day event scheduled for 30 April (9:00 am - 6:00 pm) and 1 May (11:00 am - 3:00 pm). This is a three-part book event where each student will complete 3 artful books presented by their instructors, Sherry Wilson, Rita Noble, and John Peterson. I am attempting to get scans of each project and will post as soon as they are complete. In the meantime, all three projects are available for viewing at the shop so stop in to take a look. Early registration at $130.00, which includes several amenities (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch as an example - hee hee), is encouraged. Space is limited to 16 participants only! As a note, the PB&J lunch is my attempt at keeping costs down as requested by several individuals expecting to register. Should be fun as it takes us all back to you know... those days of "Remember When?"
Just received our auto-ship from the Lockhart Rubber Stamp Company from her most recent release. Although only 6 designs were released, we just love them and currently have them all in stock. If you would like for us to put any aside for you, just call the shop (425.391.1500) and let us know what we can do for you. I think they are way cool!!

We are making plans to celebrate our 2-year anniversary in Issaquah, WA, scheduled for Saturday, 14 May 2011 so do save the date. Can you believe it? We are not sure of any details just yet so if you would like to see something special happen, just let us know. We love hearing from you and any suggestions you might have. Start planning for the opportunity to purchase a limited number of punch cards. These $100.00 gift cards are a gift to yourself for use all year long with an additional value of $10.00 just for purchasing the card as our gift to you. Passport members receive an additional $10.00 just for being a member of the passport program. How can you miss? The punch cards also offer us the opportunity for extra cash flow during a time when we can use whatever help is available so.... do let us know that you want one.
Well it is already late and with a long day tomorrow I'm off to blow some zzzzzz's. I've got lots more but..... until the next blog, take care. Hugs to all - Doris
