Newsletter Is Out!!

Greetings Everyone!!  It's just after midnight so that would make it Sunday morning.  Can't wait to get some zzzzz's but I'm having a sleepless (so far anyway) night.  Thought I would visit with you all for a minute or so. 

It's been hectic with the getting the newsletter out and also The Paper Connection at the same time.  Robin Freedman made some absolutely georgeous cards for the July Paper Connection.  I'll try to get some of them posted in my next blog or two.  The originals will also be posted in Issaquah for a while so folks there can see what it, The Paper Connection, is all about.  The newsletter is also full of newsy news plus a whole host of classes to keep your creative spirits going through the summer.  Do take some time to register for a class or two!  If for whatever reason you did not receive the newsletter via e-mail, it will be available on the websight sometime next week.  You can also e-mail me personally or leave a comment on this blog and I will e-mail it to you directly from me.  This has happened once too many times already this newsletter period.  Gotta love these electronics.

Never Mind That It Is Wednesday Already!!

Greetings Everyone!!  Here it is Wednesday already.  One week ago since my last blog.  Hope everyone is well and exploring their creative spirit.  We've been busy and you can expect to see a July/August newsletter very soon.

We sure had a GREAT turnout for Maria Loomis' Wednesday afternoon demo today.  Maria is hosting several free demos over the next few weeks so be sure to mark them on your calendar for every Wednesday over the next four weeks.  From there, who knows so stay tuned.  Here is a pic or two so you can see the fun everyone is having and, as I mentioned, what a crowd.  The store look pretty good also in the second photo.  Many thanks to those who stopped by.  We love to have you visit and sit a while!

Great Demo/Make 'n Take From Maria Loomis

Greetings Everyone!!  Just to give you an idea of the great fun we had at today's demo, here is a picture of a card designed by Julie Owens with supplies that Maria Loomis had on hand.  It is amazing!!

There were only a handful of folks but I was thrilled as this was our first mid-week demo in Issaquah.  Here is a card done by our very own Yvonne Grimes.  It also is amazing.  Just add bling to anything and it sparkles!!

Here is a photo of yours truly along with Maria on the right.  I should have written down the name of our faithful make -n taker on the left whose husband was very encouraging and patient.  She also made a wonderful card.  You can see that I am working very hard!!

What a Week!!

Greetings Everyone!  What a week this has been.  It's was graduation week for my niece, Kayla, and we had family from out of town as well.  Lots of celebrations and get togethers.  Today (Saturday) I am totally pooped.  Have not felt like this in a very long time.  We worked hard, played hard, and did a ton of stuff.  For those of you who know Kayla, she was the Valedictorian of her class.  We are pretty proud of her and all that she has accomplished.  Now we just need to make it through college.  It's not college that is the tough part but the tuition.  I'm sure many of you know what I mean.

I'll make this very short as it will be Sunday morning here soon.  I know that this is late and I do apologize but I'll make it a GREAT Sunday's pick.  OK how about 25% off on all reinkers at both locations.  We've got lots and now may be the time to stock up to refresh all those inkpads that you have.  Don't forget to mention this blog for this great discount.

I'll post a pic tomorrow of Kayla and I from her graduation.  It was a fabulous time and I am personally so proud of her.  It takes a village to raise a child and many of you are in this particular village so you can take pride as well.

Yeah!! We've Got A Sign!!!!!! (Sunday's Pick Also)

Greetings Everyone!!  Well, as you can see below, we finally got our sign installed for the new location.  It's been an interesting journey but we got there!!.  This is a reasonable picture, however, best seen in person so come on by on Saturday, 6 June 2009, where Dave Breatheauer, Owner of Memory Box, will conduct some make-n-takes and dazzle all of us with his rubber stamp images.

We'll be serving light refreshments at about 1:00 and will have two other demos going as well.
