EEK!! Do We Have Time For Sunday's Pick?

Eeeeeekkkk!!!  Sunday is only a few hours away and I've been hounded all week by the east coast blog guru - where is your updated blog?

Well, no excuses are good enough but let it be said that I have been really busy with east coast company, a host of unscheduled classes during the past week, and getting ready for the "Book"tacular event. 

We've spent our first day making great books all day long (today Saturday) and, despite some bumps and bruises, it's been great fun.  Some students even managed to finish their books which is an incredible feat!!  We'll see what tomorrow brings but in the meantime let's get on with Sunday's pick.  As soon as pictures are available, we'll post them to the blog.

Sunday's Pick

Greetings Everyone!!  It is nearly 2:30 in the morning and I just popped out of bed to get this blog done for Sunday's Pick.  Oh, the pressures of being the founder of Sunday's Pick!

But first, for all of you who keep up with Miss Evie, you need to know that she turned 87 yesterday (Friday).  Miss Evie is doing well and enjoys your cards, visits, and phone calls so keep them coming.  She celebrated her birthday with an ice cream cake but I am sure there is more to come as lunch is planned for just down the road.  It'll be fun and it will also be an opportunity for her to get out and welcome Spring!

Hope this works for you.  Someone asked me why the pick is not the same for both locations.  Well, occasionally it is but I always think it would be nice to have each location be unique.  Besides, it provides you the opportunity to reap double the benefits.

Happy Easter Everyone

Greetings Everyone!!  A quick blog "Hello" to say just that and also to wish you all a very "Happy Easter".  It came quickly this year with yours truly less than prepared.  I guess that whatever gets done gets done or NOT!!  hee hee  It's nice not to worry too much!

In any case, I'm sure you know that we are closed for Easter to celebrate with family and friends.  There is, therefore, no Sunday's Pick this week.  I will, however, honor a 25% discount on any one rubber stamp or stamp set from either of our locations.  This offer is good on Monday, 13 April 2009 during normal working hours and just by mentioning this blog.  See if you get this offer in your basket from anyone else.

Yikes - It's Friday Already!!

Greetings Everyone!!  As you can imagine, I have been busy, busy, and more busy!  I am so blessed to have so many GREAT individuals working at both the West Seattle shop and the Issaquah shop.  I've been bouncing from one to another and helping Alice, my sister, adjust to what needs to be done following foot surgery this past week.  It's really a good excuse to get a nap in now and then!!  Hee!  Hee!  Seriously, everyone at both locations is fantastic and if you ever have a chance to let them know, well, please do so. 

The Shop Hop is about to come to a close (Saturday).  If you have any input that you would like for us to forward to the coordinators for next year, please let me know.  It has been a really GREAT opportunity for us to meet so many new folks at both locations and we have enjoyed so many people stopping in.  It was with good fortune that we were able to have the Issaquah location ready.  We recognize that it has some holes that need to be filled but it is a work in progress.

Speaking of a work in progress, the "Book"tacular event on 25 and 26 April is full so I have added another session on 2 and 3 May.  Both sessions are Sat/Sun and begin at 8:15 with a continental breakfast each day, two full classes each day, lunch each day, and a goodie bag for anyone registering for the entire weekend event.  There is a video on a previous blog so scroll down to take a look at the projects.  You'll be glad you did and then register for the second event early!!

OK now for Sunday's picks:

     For West Seattle, how about 20% off on brads.  We have lots of different shapes, sizes, etc so there is a good selection to pick from.  Also many different colors.  Stocking up for an unknown future use is permissable you know.  Just ask me and I'll tell you!!  Don't forget to mention that you saw it on the blog!

     For Issaquah, how about 16% off on inkpads.  We have a full range of Colorbox inkpads and most of what Tsukeniko has to offer including Brilliance, Versafine, Memento and who knows what else.  There is definitely lots to choose from so, once again, stocking up is OK!!  Again, don't forget to mention that you saw it on the blog.
