"Book"tacular Event and Sunday's Pick

Greetings Everyone!!  We are having fun in Issaquah.  Be sure to stop in and share in some of it and see what we have been up to.  There is lots more to go but at least we have started.

This is GREAT for everyone at either location.  It's like a mini shop hop of our own.  The official Shop Hop, by the way, has been a great boost for both locations.  We have appreciated all the new folks that we have met along the way and will continue to meet over the next week while the shop hop continues.  Keep having fun everyone!!

Now what many of you have been waiting for.  The unveiling of our "Book"tacular event.  There are only two spaces for Saturday and Sunday, 25 and 26 April.  Give a call to quickly scoop one of these spaces.  We've added a second session to accommodate the overflow and it is scheduled for the following weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 2 and 3 May.  Lots of space in this one as we just opened it up.  Diane Radischat has captured all four TERRIFIC projects in the following video.  Have fun with it and call early before all the spaces are gone.  Cost is $190.00 for the full weekend which includes all four projects, two continental breakfasts, lunch, goodie bag and probably more.  Give me a call and let me know what you think!!

Sunday's Pick

Greetings Everyone!!  Many thanks to all of you who stopped in yesterday just to say hello at the Issaquah location to see the new digs or be a part of the shop hop.  With everything going on, we remained rather busy and were delighted to see such activity.  It was a GREAT first day and we felt very welcomed by the Issaquah community. 

With Sunday being tomorrow, here's the pick.  Mention this blog at either location and receive any one rubber stamp or stamp set at 25% off.  What a sweet deal.  Remember that this is valid at either location or both.  I'll be in Issaquah for the day so do stop in to say hello.

Happy Dances

Greetings Everyone!!  It's "Happy Dances" going on here in West Seattle.  We just today received our green light to be able to open to the public at our second location in Issaquah.  There has been lots of anxiety, stress, fun, excitement, and a host of other emotions and now that has all come to one last emotion of sorts!

.....              WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN ON FRIDAY, 20 MARCH 2009.  This opening coincides with the start of the Pacific Northwest Shop Hop.  Please stop in as a shop hop individual or just to say hello and see the new digs!  We hope you will like what you see. 

I have so many folks to thank that helped to make this happen.  I am truly blessed to have such a team working all the time to keep us going and going.  Even tomorrow, Thursday, the work continues so that our opening day will be filled with fun and excitement.  Our grand opening will be sometime in May. 

Short and sweet for one evening.  Still lots to do but that horizontal position is calling!  We'll see you all soon - Hugs - Doris

Greetings Everyone!!  This is going to be very short.  I've got the flu (or something) and being in a vertical position is difficult right now.  In any case, here is Sunday's pick.

Sunday's Pick and then some.....

Greetings Everyone!!  It is hard to believe that it is the 6th of March already.  I must be crazy to think that our second location will be open in less than 2 weeks.  I am crazy and we may not make it but that, in fact, is what we are shooting for to coincide with the 2009 Shop Hop.  We've got passports (they are coming) and lots of lapel pins (they are in), so, if you are in need of either to participate in the 2009 shop hop, do stop in to pick them up or give us a call and we would be glad to mail them to you.

For Sunday, 8 March 2009, our Sunday pick focuses once again on paper.  All paper (and we have lots) is on sale for a whopping 20% off and if you are a member of the Paper Connection, make that 30% off.  Now is the time to stock up on lots of great papers for any of your projects down the road.  We need to seriously make room for new papers that are beginning to arrive.  Don't we love our papers??!!

Details on the new location are coming together nicely.  Carpeting was being installed today and tomorrow so we should be ready to rock-n-roll very soon.  I can hardly wait.  Please continue to help us spread the word.  My last blog called for a volunteer architect and I got more than I had thought was possible.  My darling and very talented nephew, Sean Holshouser, stepped up to the plate in what he calls "fun activity" to create a diagram of what the new location space might look like.  I will include it in our next blog if I am able to.  Seeing what he has done thusfar is very exciting and is really making all of it a reality.  I can hardly wait to share it with all of you.  Stay tuned.....

That's gotta be it for this evening.  I could not sleep (can't imagine why not!) and it is now past midnight so I really need to give it another shot.  It's a BIG day tomorrow.  Hope all is well with everyone and that we'll be seing you all very soon!!
