Greetings Everyone!! It's true - holiday trees are popping up everywhere. It must be a signal that the holidays are well underway. I have always preferred to wait until after Thanksgiving but it is difficult to hold back when so many folks in our business need to really plan ahead. From what we have been seeing, folks are indeed getting holiday projects done and/or started. We are always happy to see this trend because it takes so much of the stress away when planning ahead. If you have not already begun your holiday projects, do think about getting started before it becomes a task instead of something fun. Gotta keep it fun!!
Our annual (11th) holiday craft show is scheduled for 16, 17 and 18 November at the shop. We have about 12 vendors who will display and sell their goods - anything from jewelry to kitchen ware to this and that and much more. If you are not able to get your own holidays projects done, take a peek at what we have to offer at the craft show. Several of the vendors have been with Friends and Company for years and are a command repeat performance so stop on by and check it all out. We have at least 6 new vendors who we hope will love the show and want to come back year after year. Please help to support all these fabulous vendors by stopping in to say hello. We think you will be pleased.
Just for the fun of it, I've "procured" this holiday tree with a gentle reminder that time is running out. Don't wait until the last minute. Get started this week. We have lots of great "stuff" to share.
We have also just recently received lots of new product including a whole host of Asian rubber stamps from Stamp Out Cute. They are exquisite works of art and are a real "gotta see". Lots of new paper from Basic Grey that include several of the new paper packs that are just gorgeous. You won't believe your eyes.
An finally, for now, the answer is YES - we are having our after Thanksgiving sale but will likely add severeal twists to it this year. As the date approaches, details will be posted here and in e-mail so if we do not have your e-mail, call the shop to get your name on the list. Trust me when I say it is the sale of the year!!
That is it for now. The hour is already late and tomorrow will come much too quickly for me. Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend and that we'll hear from you soon. We have lots of great classes still scheduled including one for Monday at 1:00 pm for the day folks which never made the newsletter (and for some it's a holiday so could be a great time to take a class). It's taught by Diane Radischat and is a terrific "Holiday Folder". Check it out on her website under classes at www.specialeditionsstudio.com.
Good night, farewell, and until the next time..... hugs to all - Doris
